About Mike Colson and Low Country Construction, LLC

Michael Colson established Low Country Construction L.L.C. after 25 years in the auto sales industry. He has always had an interest in land development and after expressing this to a close friend, Bryan Warren an experienced heavy equipment operator, decided to pursue his dream of owning and operating his own land developing company. He, with Bryan's invaluable input, created this company. After extensive research, he bought his equipment and started developing his own property. He became established in Walterboro, South Carolina and then branched out to Virginia after Hurricane Isabelle devastated that state in 2003.

While in Virginia, he became involved in bulkhead and revetment projects. At times, working on unique 50+ foot cliffs on the James and York rivers. He has also responded to the several hurricanes that hit Florida and Louisiana, including Hurricane Katrina, to help with the disaster relief efforts.

He is a dedicated family man and an avid outdoors sports man and loves boating and hunting
